How to use this printable
Print the shell alphabet (see below) and cut out the individual shell letter cards.
You might like to laminate the shells for extra durability.

There are many ways you can use this versatile shell printable in your lessons.
:: Use them to make the alphabet. Peg up the shells on a washing line, in alphabetical order.
:: Use the letter shells to play matching games. Print two sets and see if you can match up the pairs of letters.
:: Place two sets of the letter shells face down and use them to play Memory.
:: Hide the letter shells around the house or garden and see if your children can run around and find them all.
:: Hide the letter shells in a sensory tub or the sandpit and use them in imaginary play. Adding letter cards in with your pretend play makes for a print-rich environment which supports children to recognise, be confident with, and read letters.
