Here’s a fun, autumn-themed math practice printable that you can customise to suit all your children, to help them develop their arithmetic skills.
Colour-by-numbers math arithmetic sheets printables
This colour-by-numbers math printable is a fun way for children to practice arithmetic.
Every child can complete their own colourful leaf.
The printable is designed around an autumn leaf, making it a seasonal sheet to add to math centres at this time of year, or to send home with your children for some extra practice.
You can customise the leaf math printable to suit the math stage each individual child is working at.
This colour-in math printable features an autumn leaf split into sections. Each section needs to be coloured in with one of five autumn shades, to complete your pretty math leaf.
Each section of the leaf has a math question in it. Work out the answer, then refer to the key at the top to see what colour you need to fill in that section of the leaf.
For example: 8 – 7 gives the answer 1, and all ‘1’ sections of the leaf need to be coloured yellow.
Work out all the answers, colour in each section following the colour key, and make a pretty math leaf.
:: one leaf has blank sections so you can add in your own questions, to suit your individual children. Just match your answers with the key at the top.
You can customise the leaf to work on reading the names of numbers, counting dots, tallies, addition, subtraction, times tables and even division.
