How to make a Christmas bauble with free printable template
Materials needed
:: paper Christmas bauble printable – one per child (see below to print)
Print the paper bauble printable on to card and colour in all eight strips.
You can use pens or pencils in any colour you like. Maybe you’d like to add patterns too?
Use scissors to cut out the eight strips.
Optional but recommended: flip the strips over and also add colour to the reverse side.
Use a split pin to fasten one end of each strip together. (See photo above).
You can use the circle that’s printed on each strip as a guide of where to push through the split pin.
Take care with the pin and keep your fingers away from the end of it. (Placing a blob of sticky tack or playdough under the strips makes it easier to push the split pin through the paper and into the sticky tack/playdough.)
Curl the loose ends of the strips round to create the bauble shape.
Use a second split pin to hold all these loose ends together.
Thread a ribbon through, or wrap tread around one of the split pins, to hang your bauble.
