I am taking the play dough pledge this week:)
We’ll be taking the playdough challenge (once everyone is up from their nap!)
Ohhhhh I’m looking forward to this and am totally taking the playdough pledge!
Today we made mint chocolate playdough, we’ll be making cupcakes with it later with sequins and candles – you inspired me for that! I have alphabet cookie cutters so we can have a play with them one day, and if I manage to make some suitably grainy playdough (any suggestions how to?) I feel a need to build little sandcastles using a little plastic shot glass I have lying around!
Hi Jeni! Sounds like you are certainly rising to the Play Dough Pledge challenge! To make grainy play dough I would first make a batch of ordinary play dough and then mix in some actual sand. If you add it in the original recipe I think it will make the play dough too dry and crumbly but you should be OK mixing some in afterwards. What a great extra sensory element to add. We’d love to see some photos of your castles
We are taking the pledge! What a fun idea.
We’re taking the pledge! We are going to try some nature playdough by putting nature bits into ours! I can’t wait to read the A-Z post!!!
We’re taking the pledge! My Little Miss had her 4th birthday mermaid bash on Saturday so I think a sandy playdough with sea shells, ribbon, pails, sand dollars & starfish will be over the top fun on her actual birthday (tomorrow). Can’t wait (:
Cathy your ebook is amazing! Full of so many great ideas! I’ve shared it previously with friends & it’s inspired so much play!:-)
I’ll take the pledge… for next week! This week we’re paper-crafting, but next week is still free. I can’t wait!
We’ll be taking the challenge and trying out the Jello play dough that’s all over Pinterest! I’m excited to see how it feels and smells.
Shared on pinterest! This is so much fun!
