Almost a wordless post today as I think the slides speak for themselves. Go for a walk, collect some natural goodies and see what you can make. Use glue, bluetac or stickytape if you want to fix your pictures in place.

Great idea! I’ve been thinking of doing something like this with my kids when we read Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert. It would be a great activity to go with that book if you’ve never read it.
Hi Polly – that sounds like a great match.
Some great ideas there – thanks 🙂 We did leaf rubbings on to paper, foil & cellophane

Lovely pictures Lucy, thanks for sharing them. Foil is a great idea for rubbings – and great to do a mixture of materials so the children can compare the differences.
Oh Cathy, these turned out wonderfully! Really like how you played with all the different colours and leaf shapes!!
And thanks (as always) for linking up to Kids Get Crafty 😉

Brilliant! I host a linky party on my blog http://www.thetshirtdiaries.com and would be honored if you would link this tutorial up!
Thanks for the invitation Robin – will pop over for a visit.
So fun! I love all the creations.
Thanks Kelly – we had fun making them 🙂
This is a wonderful video filled with great artwork. I love the use of nut caps.
some really beautiful pictures there 🙂
Thanks Amanda. I liked that the we didn’t stick them all down so we could move the leaves and transform them into something else.
