February marks the beginning of Black History Month, the celebration of Valentine’s Day and (depending on the lunar cycle) the festival of Chinese New Year. We have ready-made lesson plans to help you teach all of these thematic units and more!

Chinese New Year thematic unit
The lunar Chinese New Year varies its date each year and so might be taught in January or February.
