Wow! Did you see the Carnival of Junk Play last week? Thank you to all of you who joined in to share a post. We collected so many ideas, from the very simple to the rather more extravagant (that one is B’s favourite). Some told a story about how the space to play with simple things, with the help of a supporting adult, can create an afternoon of happy pottering and learning. Some even gave us a film show. All the ideas showed how much play and learning you can get from everyday junk. Thanks for joining in.
I’ve linked the carnival to our Junk Play page so you can access it from the button on the right hand column anytime you need an idea.
Will you share a play idea with us this week?
First time at the Play Academy? Find out more about how to play.
I’d love to encourage more people to join our link up and benefit from the play ideas. Would you help? You could include a link to this post on your blog, use our badge (grab the code from the right-hand column) or spread the word on Twitter or your Facebook page? Thanks for your support.
And if it’s a kids craft idea you have, why not add it to the Kids Get Crafty link-up on Wednesday’s over at Red Ted Art
