Journal Jam is a summertime journal/art/exploration lab for families. Hosted by Amy Bowers of the Mama Scout site, Journal Jam will give you a daily jumping off point for exploring and creating a journalling practice with your children.
I did this camp last summer with my two girls and we loved it. You can see some of the writing and art we made as part of the camp in the photo below. Amy is so good at finding interesting prompts that spark conversation, drawing, doodling, making and ideas. We read (and wrote) poems, discovered art and films we’d never seen before, and I got to hear ideas from my children that let us connect and enjoy a lovely, slow summer together. I enjoyed the camp as much as my children did – it’s a brilliant, creative camp for the whole family.
Journal Jam costs $89 for the whole family, for two months of activities, and is available to you wherever in the world you live. Sign up here to reserve your family’s place.
