Inspired by the yarn pictures Creative Jewish Mom made for Rosh HaShana, we’ve been making some woollen decorations today. We cut out some shapes from card, squeezed on lots of glue and then wrapped our wool around the shape. Thick wool is better for little fingers, and while B liked curling the wool round neatly, L preferred to have a big tangle on hers – there are no rules of course so let your children decide how precise they want to be! These are the Halloween ones we made – there are some leaves to come too but we haven’t decided whether we’re going to make a collage with them or use real branches to display them. (I’ll post a picture of them once we’ve decided.)
